     “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some,
evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  For the perfecting of the
saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of
God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of
Christ” Ephesians 4:11-16                                                    
      Throughout my life I have experienced many life changing moments,
from marrying my best friend to purchasing my first home, or being
blessed with four beautiful children.  Now it would take a lot to top those
life changing moments, but knowing that God has called me to the Gospel
ministry and has given me a church home to fully experience that call, I
must say, has been the most life changing experience in my life.  It began
when a girl I liked invited me to church when we were 15.  That church
happen to be Northside Baptist Church of Odessa, TX.  Throughout my
years here at Northside God has used a faithful pastor to mentor me,
teachers to teach me and members of the church to encourage me.  It
seems that simply saying “thank you” isn’t close to enough, but from the
bottom of my heart I want to tell each of you “thank you”.  Thank you for
mentoring me, thank you for teaching me and thank you for encouraging
me.  I am beyond excited to know that God has called me to be a part of
the ministry of Northside Baptist Church and I look forward to the work
